Our Speaker
Mike Morrison, P. Eng. is the Director of Process Engineering at Monarch
Industries. He started at Monarch in April, 1995, and has held positions in
Design & Manufacturing Engineering and Production Management. Mike
graduated University of Manitoba in 1994 with a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering,
and was certified as a Blackbelt in Lean Manufacturing in 2008. Mike was born
and raised in Winnipeg.
The Tour
Founded in 1935, Monarch Industries is a
privately owned, vertically integrated manufacturer of hydraulic cylinders and
custom iron castings. These products are marketed globally to the Mobile, Ag,
and Industrial markets through the Original Equipment, Distribution and Retail
channels they serve. Employing over 500 people, Monarch’s corporate office is
located in Winnipeg. With a foundry in Winkler, and a distribution center in
Kansas City, Missouri, Monarch has positioned itself to service the needs of
their customers’ diverse requirements.

is required in advance, before April 25th, and limited to 20 people.
Registrations from Monarch Competitor’s employees may be rejected. CSA
footwear is recommended for attendees
