The Presentation
This presentation will review the meaning of lifecycle when it comes to system development and why it’s important. Dr. Zaher will provide an overview of various lifecyle models used in industry today and how best to apply them in the real world. There will also be discussion on common aspects that come into play such as conflict, budgets, suppliers, etc. Lastly, he will review compliance needs.
2. Our Speaker
Mohamed Zaher
is a technical manager in the safety and compliance group at American Axle
& Manufacturing & part time realtor. He was previously HEV Controls and
Software Engineer at Ford Motor company and lead the LHP engineering solutions
teams in Michigan. Dr. Zaher is a functional safety certified automotive
engineer with more than 11 years of experience in product development using the
V-model life cycle.
He received his
Ph.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2013 with M.Sc. and B.Sc.
From Cairo University in Egypt in 2005 & 2009 respectively.
