The Presentation
This presentation examines how sales and manufacturing
intersect to successfully quote, win, and deliver injection-molded plastic
products. Using a real-world product example, it follows the complete
lifecycle—from the first customer conversation through design, quoting,
tooling, production, quality control, delivery, and ongoing support. The emphasis is on how early sales decisions,
accurate information gathering, and cross-functional collaboration directly
impact cost, lead time, quality, and customer satisfaction. Attendees will
learn how to ask better questions, identify risks sooner, and align customer
expectations with manufacturing realities.
By understanding the full lifecycle of an injection molded product, participants
will be better equipped to drive profitable projects, reduce surprises, and
deliver successful outcomes for customers and internal stakeholders alike.
